Unoffensible, first build on Itch


Launching the Unoffensible Demo on Itch to allow more people to play it. Previous versions of the demo had already been available on steam, but with the vertical slice being almost complete*, it was time to spread it around to more platforms. 

The current version of Unoffensible is the result of 2.5 years of full time work. And I guess half of that time was spend on features that have since been completely removed. Without much prior experience in game development it was a route with much trail and error. 

The main goal of the demo is to get feedback and improve the demo until it functions as a final version demo. Once this level of quality and gameplay is reached I will start working on the real game. Making the real game should mainly consist of making all missions, adding more friendly and enemy units, creating cutscenes to drive the storyline and making sure the final version will be worth the asking price. 

But we are not there yet. There are not many RTS games in VR (I've tried to play most of them), but they all are very different. Player locomotion, if and how you interact with your units, moba-like vs base building, ect. There does not seem to be a generally accepted way to play these kind of games in VR. So maybe my game also does things wrong... please let me know.

* - there is probably a lot more work that needs to be done fixing problems I have so far overlooked. Please let me know if you run into anything annoying.
